Following this period of interim use, the building will be carefully gutted and renovated. A table-like support structure will then be used to incorporate new floor slabs that will allow the building to be used as an open-plan and loft office – a building within a building, so to speak. Cafes and restaurants will be included to provide future users and the neighborhood with places to eat.

A sophisticated ventilation and heating system as well as partial air conditioning systems ensure the perfect working climate. Water circuits with minimal consumption, underfloor heating with individual room control and the heating of the fresh air flow for natural office ventilation via special convectors make the conversion of the listed building a sustainable showcase project.
