At the heart of this vibrant city lies Karlstrasse 26. Surrounded by numerous stores, cafes and restaurants, and boasting outstanding transport connections to other parts of the city center and to the surrounding area, everyone will find what they are looking for. And yet, if you still feel a longing for more nature, you will find it just minutes away on the banks of the Rhine or in one of the numerous parks in and around Karlsruhe.
In addition to the realization of the building according to the KfW-55 standard, the heat supply plays a central role. With the integration of an air-to-water heat pump, the Karl 26 offers one of the most sustainable supply options. Compared to gas or oil heating systems, it produces around 75% less CO2 and is also independent of price fluctuations due to economic factors. Around 70 % of the pump is powered by the building's own solar panels. Triple-glazed box-type windows also minimize heat loss to the outside and provide excellent sound insulation.
