The tenants of the building at Schwanthalerstraße 69 include Munich's Department of Health with laboratories, examination rooms and offices, a private daycare center with several groups of children, and a small business.
In 2015, we supervised extensive redevelopment of the building, which was erected in 1976. We involved the tenants in the planning at an early stage. The building was completely gutted in order to ensure that it could meet the latest energy, technical and design-specific requirements. The external facade was also refurbished and the characteristic "metal skin" of the historic building was reinterpreted using brightly shimmering aluminum sheet. Other visual highlights include the wraparound terrace and the quiet, landscaped open space on the south side of the building.
